The inaugural event looking to foster collaboration between real estate developers throughout the Midwest is set to take place in Chicago October 12. The goal is to focus on underrepresented populations in commercial real estate.

ESD, now Stantec Practice Leader for Commissioning and Energy+Eco Saagar Patel will be joining a panel to discuss “Localizing Sustainability Solutions : Embedding Net Zero in RE Developments.” Patel says the program will introduce participants to carbon reduction principles while educating them on how to develop teams to achieve net zero emissions goals.

A waitlist for the sold-out event is currently open.

Saagar Patel currently serves on the Illinois Energy Code Advisory Council as well as the Building Decarbonization Working Group for the City of Chicago, demonstrating his commitment to ESD, now Stantec’s to mission to build communities and to improve society through the built environment.
