Designing for today’s built environment requires imagination, unconventional thinking, and the ability to solve engineering problems in new ways. (Listen to the podcast.)
Our team strives to live our values and mission every day. In 1967, an energetic engineer saw opportunity where others saw too much risk and bureaucracy. Our founder, Hem Gupta, stepped into the opportunity and developed an electrical design solution that has become a standard applied to the design and construction of high-rise office buildings to this day. Mr. Gupta’s energy, curiosity, and kindness are embodied in our corporate values of respect everyone, work hard, and play to win while shaping our mission to improve society through the built environment.
At the forefront of our values is respect everyone. Supported by work hard and play to win. When applied in our daily activities and decisions, these three values are the foundation for fulfilling our mission to improve society through the built environment.
As a professional services firm, respecting every person is intentional. We provide training. Our policies are aligned. Our internal groups are supported.
Working hard is multi-dimensional. We depend on each other to deliver value to our clients and partners while creating opportunities for personal and professional fulfillment.
We seek continuous improvement and celebrate innovation. Playing to win embraces ethics and best practices while supporting each other’s, our partner’s, and our client’s success.
