Consulting-Specifying Engineer (CSE) magazine recognizes an elite group of young professionals with its 2022 40 Under 40 award, including ESD Commissioning and Energy+Eco Operations Director Saagar Patel. (Read why Saagar is being recognized.)
Our team strives to live our values and mission every day. In 1967, an energetic engineer saw opportunity where others saw too much risk and bureaucracy. Our founder, Hem Gupta, stepped into the opportunity and developed an electrical design solution that has become a standard applied to the design and construction of high-rise office buildings to this day. Mr. Gupta’s energy, curiosity, and kindness are embodied in our corporate values of respect everyone, work hard, and play to win while shaping our mission to improve society through the built environment.
How do we make people’s lives better at work? How do we build communities around skyscrapers?
The people who work for ESD love asking these questions, and love finding the answers. We learn from each other and teach each other. We support each other and our clients. We’d love for you to join our team of practical dreamers.
As a professional services firm, respecting every person is intentional. We provide training. Our policies are aligned. Our internal groups are supported.
