DEI

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Council is comprised of individuals whose experience and diligence reflect a wide range of perspectives working to ensure the advancement of DEI at ESD.

ESDOPEN

Outreach, Philanthropy, Engagement, Network (OPEN) cultivates community outreach and philanthropic endeavors while fostering positive employee morale, teamwork and leadership.

ESDi – Innovation

The innovation committee works to improve collaboration and create a culture that encourages innovation. The group develops initiatives to promote engineering design/technical excellence, project delivery/presentation and services offering.

ESDNEW

Network Empowering Women (NEW) fosters diverse professional relationships and mentorship among employees. It influences company culture and policy to promote equal opportunity.

Education/Training

There was a snippet circulating the internet where the CFO asks, “What happens if we invest in developing our people and they then leave us?” And the CEO responds, “What happens if we don’t, and they stay?”

Our investment in education and training is a wise investment for the benefit of both our clients and our people. ESD Now Stantec Women Build Bonds and Homes

Two teams from ESD now Stantec and Stantec join a total of 600 Women Build volunteers in this year’s effort by Habitat for Humanity to construct houses for Chicago women who might not otherwise be able to afford a new home. (Learn more about Habitat for Humanity Chicago’s Women Build.)

Building Community Pride with Structural Support
