Green Spotlight Shines on Zelazny

Every month, Illinois Green Alliance (previously USGBC IL) highlights passionate and motivated volunteers. This month, they put the spotlight on one of our own.

Tim Zelazny, ESD’s Sustainability Leader, was chosen due to his active involvement with three committees. His volunteer work has spanned from educating tenants at a local housing complex on sustainability and wellness to his continuous engagement on carbon reduction with the City of Chicago as Co-Vice President of Passive House Alliance Chicago.

Aside from talking about his numerous green accomplishments, the newsletter asked him for a fun fact.

“I love to Divvy!” Zelazny said, referring to his 2017 ridership of 540 miles (equating to 367 pounds in carbon reduction).
