Air quality and other health-related issues in the workplace can hamper employee productivity. The WELL Building Standard — the first protocol of its kind to focus on human wellness within the built environment — was created a few years ago to improve employee health.
Tim Zelazny passed an exam recently to become a WELL Accredited Professional (AP) through the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). He can focus on the health and wellness of people in buildings by marrying best practices in design with evidence-based medical and scientific research.
Thanks to Tim and others, ESD is providing engineering solutions on projects attempting WELL certification. ESD’s Aliza Skolnik was among the first class of elite professionals to earn a provisional WELL AP credential.
