Chicago Build 2023 is featuring a session on planning and designing for responsible and sustainable growth in metropolitan areas.

 ESD, now Stantec Senior Building Analyst Ken Griffin will be joining a panel to discuss “The Role of Architecture in Sustainable Urban Development.” Griffin’s energy analyses and studies have been used to inform the design of new high-performance buildings around the world. He says the session will be on sustainable architecture that prioritizes designs that endure, focusing on longevity, adaptability, and high quality to create buildings people want to keep.

Joining Griffin on the panel of industry specialists are Stantec Principal and Practice Leader Joe Cliggott, Perkins&Will Project Architect Senior Associate Justin Wortmann, and Jeff Johnson, principal of development and construction for The John Buck Company.

Registration for Chicago Build 2023 is open. The event runs October 11-12.
