The Chicago Botanic Garden’s new learning campus — a structure that showcases ESD’s engineering, consulting and energy & eco expertise — was profiled this week in the Chicago Tribune.

The Regenstein Learning Campus — a 25,000-square-foot education center filled with classrooms — will officially open Sept. 10-11. Natural light and rainwater harvesting are a big focus of the project, which also features rolling grassy hills on its front lawn. ESD helped the Botanic Garden receive a significant amount of money for the $28-million structure via incentives and grants.
