ESD Experts Discuss Ways for Pharmacies to Comply with Changes

Though some businesses are in the midst of celebrating the holidays, pharmacies need to tamper the festivities and focus instead on important changes coming in 2019.

Craig Kos and Mike Stark discuss new standards on the horizon in “Adapt to New USP Standards by Implementing Small Infrastructure Changes” in Laboratory Design News magazine. They explain there are multiple opportunities to provide cost-effective engineering designs that will lead pharmacies to compliance with the updated USP 797 standards and new USP 800 standards, but pharmacies need to start now to ensure they will meet the standards by December 2019.
