What?s the Business Case for Building Intelligence?

It’s much more expensive to unbundle smart technologies in order to add intelligence a few years after they’re installed. When energy, security and other smart systems are connected at the outset – especially in new buildings – the result is intelligence at little or no cost, a great selling point to persuade top executives to sign off on building intelligence during the design process.

Kurt Karnatz and Steve Brown will present “How to Develop a Business Case and Roadmap to Building Intelligence” at Building Operating Management’s NFMT – America’s No. 1 Facilities and Conference Expo – which runs from March 22-24 in Baltimore. They will show how to quantify the economic impacts of building intelligence initiatives to reveal why they enhance asset value.
