How to Avoid a Data Center Disaster

More and more companies are turning to data centers for storage, processing and distribution of information. Their importance is growing, which means the risks — of a cybersecurity breach, fire and other ills — need to be addressed more closely.

Paul Schlattman will host a Webinar entitled “Disaster in the Data Center” on May 23. Among other topics, he will discuss threat assessment during site selection, from flood zones to flight paths, as well as the importance of conducting risk assessments once a data center is built — especially when a one-hour outage can cost close to $500,000.
