Getting the most out of buildings—cost, speed to market, sustainability, user experience, wellness, and more—is the focus of “The Buildings Conference 2023” sponsored by BuiltWorlds. ESD President Kurt Karnatz joins a panel of professional peers as part of the two-day event starting May 18 in Chicago.
Karnatz will be discussing “Building IoT – The Challenges and Opportunities of Building Operations Tech” on the second day of the conference. The panel will be discussing advancements in Internet of Thins (IoT) and other developments in building operations technology over the past five to 10 years.
According to Karnatz, the group will examine what the driving forces were for these technological advances in the past versus today while answering the question: “Are they just the flavor of the day, or are these technologies and trends here to stay?”
Registration for the May 17 – 18 conference is open.
