The evolution of the modern office needs to accommodate team members meeting in person and online. ESD now Stantec Senior Audio Visual Consultant John Doyle offers an overview of the best technology to consider.
Writing for CoreNet Global’s online magazine The Pulse, Doyle points to the various options building owners, operators, and developers can consider to help bring employees together. In “Tech-Tonic Shifts in Meeting Room Design,” Doyle says technology is the common denominator for creating spaces that are healthy, welcoming, and inclusive.
In his article, Doyle says most key players looking to improve meeting room spaces are focusing on some form of camera automation. He says, “We are generally seeing some flavor of either framing, tracking, or gridding of the camera shots.”
Doyle goes on to review top vendors making an impact on the market with new hardware and software options. These include Logitech, the Poly X-Series, and Huddly Crew’s long-anticipated “Crew” technology.
With articles like this, Senior Audio Visual Consultant John Doyle freely shares his knowledge and experience as part of ESD now Stantec’s mission to build communities and improve society through the built environment.
