Lambiaso to Address Importance of Data Center Certification

Though the mass adoption of cloud computing has created an efficient way for companies to store and manage data, the risk of outages has grown exponentially – making it all the more important to know that the data center a firm chooses is certified.

ESD’s David Lambiaso and UL’s Neil Lakomiak will share their expertise on the topic when they present “Inside UL’s Data Center Certification Program” during CAPRE’s Sixth Annual Washington, D.C. & Mid-Atlantic Data Center Summit on Wednesday, Sept. 12.  The duo will discuss the certification process, infrastructure requirements and strategies for existing data centers and new data centers under construction. The UL Cloud Certification Program addresses the continued reliability of key components of critical data center infrastructure by integrating the multiple disciplines of electrical, mechanical, security, life safety, building automation and telecom to create a comprehensive service.
