Wilson to Offer Insights on MBCx for New Facilities at NFMT

Understanding how to approach monitoring-based commissioning for newly constructed facilities is always an important topic.

Chris Wilson of ESD and Lamar Davis of the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab will present “Monitoring-Based Commissioning (MBCx) for New Construction” during Building Operating Management’s NFMT 2019 on Thursday, March 28 in Baltimore. While highlighting a pilot project through ComEd’s Utility Incentive Program for New Construction, the session will cover specifics on how ESD and Shirley Ryan AbilityLab approached the design and architecture of the FDD software solution, an overview of the program being offered by ComEd and common challenges associated with integration and implementation of MBCx within a critical facility.

ESD provided a number of services for the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, which opened in 2017.
