Amid all of the new office buildings dotting the skylines in big U.S. cities, brimming with eye-catching technology and enjoying LEED certification, sometimes the health and wellness of office workers is forgotten.
Aliza Skolnik addressed the importance of their health and wellness during an interview with Bisnow before her appearance on a panel during Bisnow’s Innovations in Sustainable Buildings event in San Francisco on February 27. As WELL Building Standards, which specifically assess the health and wellness of office workers, grow in importance, it could change the way buildings are designed, built and operated throughout San Francisco and the nation.
Skolnik said one of the biggest trends ESD is following is how materials affect the health of building occupants.
