Vallort Addresses Two Topics at ASHRAE Event

In the last two years, Jim Vallort has conducted presentations in Greece, Malaysia and other global hot spots. Finally, he showed up to give his insightful talks within driving range of ESD’s Willis Tower headquarters.

The ESD Managing Director presented “Intelligent Buildings” along with “Primary Heating/Cooling Plant Strategies and How to Maximize the Energy and Financial Savings” during the ASHRAE Wisconsin Chapter “Investing in Our Buildings” Conference in Milwaukee on May 3.  Vallort is a Distinguished Lecturer for ASHRAE, one of 70 or so speakers that the organization sends around the world to share their knowledge.

Also at the event, ESD’s Hanadi Salamah represented the Illinois Chapter’s Young Engineers in ASHRAE (YEA) group as the co-chair, and ESD’s Frank Moccio – an ASHRAE Illinois board member – accepted an award for the Illinois Chapter. The chapter and its committees netted several awards this year, including a Presidential Award of Excellence (PAOE) citation.
