Monitoring-based Commissioning Has Key Role in Energy Management

Monitoring-based commissioning has emerged as a promising solution to uncover and track energy-savings opportunities.

ESD Energy+Eco Senior Project Manager Marie Curatolo will present the webinar “Monitoring-Based Commissioning and the Continuous-Improvement Cycle” on Thursday, April 9 at 1 p.m. Central Time. The presentation will define monitoring-based commissioning and discuss its role in the context of comprehensive energy management.

Average energy savings of 5% from no/low-cost energy conservation measures as well as improvements in operations and maintenance are two of its most sought-after benefits. But monitoring-based commissioning is more than just an isolated measure to find easy cost savings: It is a useful tool and practice for every step of a comprehensive energy management program that builds on its successes to drive further improvement.
