ESD helped long-time client United Airlines develop a fully redesigned TSA Precheck security checkpoint at O’Hare Airport, which opened this week. Customers can go through the lanes more quickly, alleviating the amount of frustration that occurs during crowded travel times. ESD was involved with electrical engineering on the project, ensuring important automatic screening will take place without interruption.
ESD also worked with United recently to improve its aging club at O’Hare. The company provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering consulting services. One benefit: Power receptacles are now available at every seat, so customers don’t need to battle over a handful of outlets.
