Two teams from ESD now Stantec and Stantec join a total of 600 Women Build volunteers in this year’s effort by Habitat for Humanity to construct houses for Chicago women who might not otherwise be able to afford a new home. (Learn more about Habitat for Humanity Chicago’s Women Build.)
Each year, BD+C magazine’s 40 Under 40 Class features rising stars in the architecture, engineering and construction industries. This year, more than 200 candidates were nominated.
Andrew Lehrer of ESD captured the prestigious honor. He leads ESD’s work in high rise, adaptive reuse, building repositioning and in the R&D sector. His major projects include the Google headquarters, Spertus Institute, Motorola Mobility, Willis Tower podium and others.
Off the clock, Andrew enjoys photography and exploring the forest preserves with his wife, Liza, their children, Benji (5) and Alice (1), and Fergi, their Corgi-Lab.
Congratulations, Andrew, on this great honor!
