The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Chicago will host an instructional series featuring industry experts who will help decipher the icons and makeup of construction drawings and documents.
ESD Senior Managing Director of Technical Support Services Mehdi Jalayerian will offer insights about the importance of MEP engineering documents and the complex world of construction documents during the “Construction Drawing Series” conducted by BOMA Chicago on Tuesday, May 3, 5, 10, and 12. Jalayerian says by learning how to read construction documents, you will be better prepared to create a stronger team, gain confidence, and help your company save project time and money.
Registration for the series is open and offers the opportunity to earn 12 continuing professional development (CPD) credits for Real Property Administrator/Facilities Management Administrator (RPA/FMA) accreditation. Sessions will cover how to decipher construction drawing (contract and construction documents, architectural drawing, MEP, and structural drawings) as well as project closeout, locks, and construction pricing.
