Why would a centralized district cooling plant be a better choice than individual plants in cities and large urban developments?
Mehdi Jalayerian, along with Tyler Jensen and Kenneth Griffin, will share the reasons during a presentation based on the theme “Polycentric Cities: The Future of Vertical Urbanism” during the CTBUH 2018 Middle East Conference in Dubai from Oct. 20-25. They will analyze real-life data from various projects worldwide, develop a theoretical energy model to test their hypothesis through simulation and show why centralized district cooling plants will help lead to a more sustainable future in the world’s largest cities.
