The Joan W. and Irving B. Harris Theater for Music and Dance project, receives the 2005 Design Excellence Distinguished Building Institutional Award, from the AIA Chicago. The award recognizes Music and Dance Theater Chicago (owner), Hammond Beeby Rupert Ainge (architect), Clark Construction Group (contractor), and ESD (consultant).
