ESD Welcomes New Advisory Board Member

Duane Jackson, backed by his team at Author Capital Partners, brings mergers and acquisitions (M&A) expertise to ESD’s multi-year plan for strategic growth.

ESD recently announced Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Author Capital Partners, Duane Jackson, is the newest addition to ESD’s advisory board. Jackson and his Chicago-based investment and advisory firm specialize in M&A specific to family- and founder-led businesses. According to Jackson, “The team at ESD continues to build upon an already deeply respected engineering services firm now in its second generation of family leadership. I’m honored to serve on ESD’s advisory board alongside several other notable business executives and honored by the trust ESD is placing in Author Capital Partners to support acquisitions and further growth.”

The move is a key component of the ESD2024 strategy of pursuing M&A opportunities with companies aligned with ESD’s values and vision. In addition to board members Executive Chairman Raj Gupta and Chief Executive Officer Zackery House, Jackson will be joining a distinguished group of industry professionals including David Gensler, William A. Hudson, and Meredith Mendes.

Finding industry leaders aligned with our values to advise the company helps further ESD’s mission to improve society through the built environment.
