ESD Ready to Be Chair-itable Through Aeron Event

Rarely is hockey played without skates, on chairs and in Chicago Navy Pier’s Grand Ballroom. But the 13th annual Aeron Hockey tournament is no ordinary outing.

ESD’s Workplace Solutions group will gather Thursday, Feb. 21 to battle other company teams in the interiors industry including design, real estate and construction. The event — where players will roll about on Herman Miller Aeron chairs and knock foam pucks about — raises money for Special Olympics Illinois.

In the past, ESD has won the Big Assist trophy for raising the most money among all of the companies there. It’s another example of ESD giving back.
