ESD has found that golf is a great way to raise money for non-profits.
This year, our Golfing for Good program raised more than $100,000 for Purple Asparagus, an organization that educates children on good eating habits. Contributors donated money or bought raffle tickets to win a round of golf at top courses in the area.
Since its inception in 2011, ESD’s annual Golfing for Good event has given more than $575,000 to local charities. Last year, even the sale of salsa was implemented to raise money for the Golfing for Good charity Chicago HOPES for Kids.
