ESD Projects Win Top Honors

Conference celebrates “the very best in innovative tall buildings, urban spaces, building technologies, and construction practices from around the world.”

The 2021 Tall+Urban Innovation Conference sponsored by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habit (CTBUH) is recognizing Award of Excellence Winners, including two projects ESD had a role in completing. ESD provided MEP design work on the Best Tall Building 200-299 meters Award of Excellence winner, 110 North Wacker in Chicago, Illinois. We were also cited for our Peer Review and MEP design contributions on the Best Tall Building 400 meters and above Award of Excellence winner, the Lakhta Center in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Previously known as the CTBUH Annual Awards event, this virtual program sees the owner/developer, design, engineering, and technical teams for 165 awarded projects present to the audience. Live juries are held for the honor of overall award category distinction.

ESD is an active agent for change in the world as its professionals pursue a mission to improve society through the built environment.
