ESD Nabs Consulting Engineer of the Year Award Again

Performing top-notch work is its own reward, but it’s always good to be recognized for it.

ESD won the Consulting Engineer of the Year Award at the 32nd annual Chicago Commercial Real Estate Awards on June 25 for outstanding achievements with interior tenant buildouts, new development and redevelopment through all project phases. The firm was recognized by owners, architects, contractors, developers, brokers, project managers and other engineering firms for its achievement during a virtual ceremony.

“We want to say thank you to all of our clients and colleagues for your partnership and trust,” ESD CEO Zac House said during the event. “We appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with many of you to Improve Society Through the Built Environment. We also want to thank our employees for their hard work and commitment during these unprecedented times.”

This is the fourth time in the last five years ESD has won the award. The firm was not eligible in 2018 because it had won the two previous years.

The event benefits the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
