Wilson Joins Engineering Advisory Council

ESD encourages employees to be engaged in committees and councils outside of their jobs — to bring the ESD value of working hard to areas that can greatly benefit from our team’s expertise.

ESD’s Chris Wilson has joined the University of Illinois-Chicago’s Master of Energy Engineering Advisory Council, replacing ESD’s Mike Thomas. The council addresses major issues in the engineering field, such as the future of Professional Engineer (PE) certification and other topics. The objectives of the advisory council include providing an avenue for students and graduates to benefit the local energy industry and to make local industry employees aware of the program as a development opportunity for their employees.

The UIC Engineering graduate school is considered among the top 100 in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report.
