HPC Administrators Look for Guidance on Data Centers

Often without warning or proper training, employees working on high-performance computing (HPC) tasks are asked to plan data center needs.

To help improve this situation, Mike Thomas will present “Data Center Design and Planning for HPC Folks” at SC16 — The International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage and Analysis — on November 14. With two fellow panelists, he will train users on how to begin the planning process. Mike has participated in the annual conference since 2006 and has worked with more than 30 HPC clients on data center infrastructure deployment programs.
