ESD Devoted to Teaching Next Generation About BIM

ESD is committed to the future of Building Information Modeling (BIM).

Need proof? Adam Burnett, Applications Developer at ESD, spoke to the  “Introduction to BIM” class taught by ESD’s Julide Demirdoven at Construction Engineering and Management Program of Illinois Institute of Technology on April 25.

They held a BIM Automation Workshop for three hours in a lab environment and introduced 25 students to ESD and Automation with Revit using Dynamo. Burnett also shed light on students’ career planning with BIM.

Previously, Demirdoven had hosted Mayank Sharma, Regional BIM Manager at Gensler, in her class. Mayank helped students prepare for interviews when they apply for BIM positions.
