Jalayerian, Jensen to Create CTBUH Technical Guide on Stack Effect

The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) publishes technical guides – comprehensive books focusing on one subject – by those in the industry who are experts in a certain genre.

That’s why Mehdi Jalayerian and Tyler Jensen will co-author “Stack Effect in High-Rise Buildings” as part of the CTBUH series. Jalayerian will be leading a workshop at the CTBUH 2018 Middle East Conference in Dubai on Saturday, Oct. 20 to facilitate contributions to the technical guide, which will be geared toward MEP and rely heavily on case studies.

“We’re proud to participate in sharing this information and these ideas with CTBUH and its members,” Jalayerian said.

CTBUH technical guides – featuring glossy pages with colorful graphics – are avidly read by those in the tall-building industry, including architects, engineers and beyond. Jalayerian and Jensen have previously written papers on stack effect that were published by CTBUH.
