Carter Appointed to Serve on Electrical Commission

Being appointed to a position by the mayor of a major city is quite an honor.

Amanda Carter knows the feeling. The ESD electrical engineer was appointed by Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel to the Electrical Commission, an appointment approved by the City Council. She joined others who were appointed to the Northwest Home Equity Commission.

“Throughout their careers, these individuals have shown a deep dedication to serving communities across Chicago,” noted Mayor Emanuel in a press release. “Through their leadership and hard work, I’m confident these appointees will help the city achieve its goals."
