ESD developed energy models and an optimization plan for this 40-year-old campus. The objective was to identify wasted energy within the campus' central plant and develop a plan for high-performing infrastructure systems. Our energy optimization analysis incorporated 3D model geometry generated in Revit combined with energy analysis software. The model was used to convey multiple energy savings scenarios to reduce energy costs. A year-long cogeneration analysis was also completed to determine the best operating parameters to maximize return on investment.
ESD proposed over $2,000,000 of capital improvements for energy conservation measures. We identified ideal operation parameters and oversaw the installation and optimization of the solutions. The result was over $1,000,000 in annual energy savings.
