ESD Captures Consulting Engineer of the Year Award

It’s always nice to see top-notch work rewarded.

ESD won the Consulting Engineer of the Year Award at the 31st annual Chicago Commercial Real Estate Awards on March 14. The firm was recognized by owners, architects, contractors, developers, brokers, project managers and other engineering firms for its achievement during a dinner at the Hilton Chicago.

During the acceptance speech, Executive Chairman Raj Gupta dedicated ESD’s win to Rose Marie Quilty, who passed away on Monday. A long-time employee, she was passionate about ESD and worked hard every day to make ESD a better place.

Added CEO Zac House in an e-mail to employees, “This is a testament to the hard work and commitment to our clients that each of you embodies on a daily basis.”

This is the third time in the last four years ESD has won the award. The firm was not eligible in 2018 because it had won the two previous years.
