Neil Lakomiak of UL addresses this issue in his article “Are Organizations Over-Engineering Their Data Centers?” for Information Management magazine. He points out challenges data centers may be facing due to antiquated certification program. UL and ESD have collaborated on and introduced an international UL Data Center Certification Program to help mitigate this issue.
