Mehdi Jalayerian will address two seminar sessions during the ASHRAE 2018 Winter Conference at the Palmer House in Chicago on Sunday, Jan. 21. In the morning, he will present “Methods to Mitigate Stack Effect in Supertall & Megatall Buildings.” Jalayerian will provide a parametric review of stack effect conditions for realistic configuration of megatall towers and establish design considerations related to envelope construction, lobby configuration, space pressurization and more. In the afternoon, he will present “The Current Tallest Building Design Update.” Jalayerian will review next-generation design parameters and system zoning and configuration to achieve systems reliability and efficiency.
