As ESD’s celebrates our 50th anniversary this year, we are pleased to announce executive and board changes designed to steer the company successfully into the future.
Raj Gupta, son of company founder Hem Gupta, will leave his chief executive officer role to serve as executive chairman of the board. Zac House will be the new CEO, a promotion from his previous title as chief of staff. Mark Gupta, Raj’s brother, joins ESD’s board, which consists of Raj, his mother Asha Gupta and Kurt Karnatz. Mehdi Jalayerian is now the board’s corporate secretary, and Mike Matthews is its corporate treasurer.
Raj praised House, who has worked at ESD for four years after a long career at Walmart.
“Zac is a humble and thoughtful leader with great business insight and a very approachable style,” he said. “He embraces our values of respect for everyone, working hard, and playing to win.”
