UI Labs Digital Manufacturing and Design Innovation Institute on Goose Island is a world-class hub – one which ESD played a big role in developing.
During the design phase, ESD’s Technology Consulting team provided IT management. Our team then provided migration planning and management services in the technology infrastructure. ESD also crafted the mechanical, electrical and plumbing design for the space, which received LEED Silver certification.
Andrew Lehrer will help lead a tour of UI Labs for members of the ASHRAE Illinois Chapter on Thursday, April 20. Along with Bill Hurley, chief engineer at UI Labs, Lehrer will walk the group through several of the building’s most interesting features while describing how each contributes to the goals of driving innovation and new ideas.
