CBRE Chicago Office Relocation

Chicago, Illinois

CBRE used their Chicago office relocation as an opportunity to bring its Workplace 360 initiative to Chicago, which moves away from assigned work spaces and goes paperless in an effort to promote collaboration and mobility.

“We have an activity-based work model,” says Meredith Bell, an associate in CBRE’s workplace strategy consulting practice, “where based on the activities you have, you have a choice of different spaces to support that.” The new space contains 14 types of work spaces, including offices for a day, huddle rooms, open team areas, and focus rooms. It is a 100% digital work environment with an high-end project display system and a double-height entry space.
